The EMBO Young Scientists’ Forum (EYSF) aims to provide a chance for aspiring scientists (PhD students, post-docs) to meet and exchange ideas with renowned research leaders in life sciences, share their findings and interests to an international and interdisciplinary public, and network with their peers from other countries. The event is held annually, hosted by various European cities where principal investigators of EMBO grants are based. The 12th EYSF, organized by recipients of EMBO Installation Grants from Polish academia, will take place in Warsaw – the capital of Poland at the CNBCh UW Headquaters. The planned two-day programme includes talks and seminar sessions on a variety of molecular biology-related topics, such as microbiology, genomics, structural biology and evolutionary biology, as well as discussions on career development, a poster session, and a wide choice of social events. We believe that the 12th edition of the EMBO Young Scientists’ Forum will be a perfect opportunity for the participants to broaden their perspectives beyond their primary scope of interest, form connections that will evolve into cooperative projects, as well as develop new ideas both for academic research and future endeavours outside of academia.
